![]() The clutch peal was a bit further to the left than most racers would like, They’ll more than likely need rebuilt, and when they were initially conceived, they weren’t really designed for the proverbial heel and toe. Secondly, the OEM units are now 40 years old. So if you think you’ll be able to nab one of these from the yard around the corner, tomorrow, you might as well forget it. Only a tiny percentage of these cars left the factory with a clutch pedal, and most of them have already taken up residency in the wrecking yards and have already been picked apart years ago. Sure, we suppose you could, but there’s a couple of things that you have to keep in mind first, they’re few and far between. Now, we know what you’e thinking GM made manual transmission-equipped G-bodies and A-bodies, so why not just source one of those?
